The leader also praised Mr. Trump for resolving other long-standing conflicts worldwide, saying he has made "tremendous efforts" to mediate peace.
"I think his achievement is more than many other peace prize candidates, he has worked harder for peace between nations," Tybling Guede told Fox News.
In a letter of recommendation to the Nobel Committee, Mr. Tybling-Guedde said the Trump administration played an important role in building relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
"With other Middle Eastern countries expected to follow the UAE, this agreement could be a game changer that transforms the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity."
